A long walk with lots of greenery and fresh air is definitely a welcome change. I guess I’ve just been tired and out of sorts, of late. Quite a few things happening at the same time, that I guess I’ve been losing a sense of myself and what I really want out of the many things that life has to offer.
After yesterday’s mini-outing, I feel refreshed and the fog has somewhat lifted. Now I can finally get down to doing all those arrangements that I had wanted to do over the weekend!
Till then, smelling the roses.

We like to go to one of our favourite restaurants, at least once a month. Nothing fancy, it’s a just a small place which brings back lots of good memories for us. Besides, we always end up ordering the same thing eventhough they have lots more on the menu. Over the long weekend, we decided to pop by for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the sudden appearance of flowers on the table.
Usually the tables are bare, with only the condiment bottles around. The flowers were inexpensive, and they were placed in the same glasses that they served our tea in. I guess it doesn’t take that much to make someone just a little more happy.
I’ve got some pictures of flowers made to look like my fav pet, from a dear friend, using these very flowers. Will try my hand at making them over the weekend and hopefully have some good pics to post come Monday!
Till then, smelling the roses.

I’m looking for these roses, but I can’t seem to find them at the normal stores.
I saw someone carrying them around campus on Valentine’s day, and their really pretty colour just caught my eye. They bloom so well too, it would make a really sweet bouquet.
Any one knows where I can get them?

Before I started getting serious about flowers, I really didn’t have a favourite colour for roses. I had been asked quite a few times which colour would I prefer to receive, red roses, champagne coloured roses, or the dyed blue rose. At one point in time, I thought the deep red roses were the best. And then later, I prefered the champagne coloured ones, simply because they were bright, and I associated them with being light and refreshed myself. But of late, this certain rose has taken my breath away.
Gorgeous, don’t you think? This one bloomed so well, I just had to take a pic of it.
Till then, smelling the roses.

2 stalks – Mutual Feelings
3 stalks – I Love You
7 stalks – I am Infatuated by You
9 stalks – Together as Long as We Live
10 stalks- You are Perfect
11 stalks – You are My Treasured One
12 stalks – Be My Steady
13 stalks – Friends Forever
15 stalks – I am Sorry
20 stalks – I am Sincere Towards You
21 stalks – I am Committed to You
36 stalks – I Will Remember Our Romantic Moments
40 stalks – My Love is Genuine
99 stalks – I Will Love You Till the Day I Die
100 stalks – I am Totally Devoted to You
101 stalks – You are My One and Only

Anyone who’s going to be sending anything more than a hundred roses, must really really like flowers. Cuz that’s one heavy bouquet.
Till then, smelling the roses.
